Dr. Carlos Privette Scholarship
Dr. Carlos J. Privette, a proud native of Durham, NC, established this scholarship to give back to the community that shaped him. With a passion for education and service, he aims to support a deserving minority student pursuing a career as a Physician, Dentist, or PA.
Requirements & Eligibility
- $2500 scholarship awarded in July
- Deadline: May 30th
- Minority senior attending a Durham County High School
- Minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA
- 50+ community service hours (high school career)
- Accepted into an accredited four year institution
- Plans to become a Physician, Dentist, or PA
- Submit official high school transcript
- 500-word essay
- Two character reference letters
